Welcome to the 2009.finkelchang, clearinghouse of pertinent (and some impertinent, if you are so lucky) information as regards the wedding of Meredith Finkelstein and Lian Chang to take place about a year from now in exotic Hong Kong … Bring it!
We would love if you can join us. But we see you all the time, you protest. Well, we know that it’s a big schlep to get to HK. And we know that miles and logistics and the weak dollar are as a rule the least fun aspects of travel. So we want to make it as enticing and as easy and painless for you. We’ll populate this site (’bloooo0og’, if you must) for you with links to airlines, hotels, and all the assorted deals we can gather thru our people on the ground, some ingenius sleuthing on the Internets, and the greasing of many goose-fat soaked palms.
More sexily though, we really want to get you stoked about the cultural, sartorial, culinary possibilities of Hong Kong. Because it’s a kickin’ town, full of flavor and style and life and (semi-)edible animal parts. It’s also a terrific launch-point for those of you who may have always want to travel the Far East but have hitherto lacked an excuse …
